The Rate and Pitch Audit

The Rate & Pitch
Audit

The first thing most people buy, and the one with nothing held back. You send me five things. Three working days later a written document comes back, with your three assets rebuilt.

$99Three working days

Prices are in US dollars. If you are in the EU or the UK, VAT is added at checkout at your country’s rate, collected by the checkout, not by me.

What it is

You are almost certainly underpricing, and almost certainly cannot prove it.

That is not a criticism. There is no clearinghouse for creator fees, no published record of what anybody was actually paid, and no reliable way to check your own number against the market. Half the marketers on the other side of the table say they misprice this too.

I ran a talent agency for six years. My job was the middle. I found the creator, wrote the pitch, agreed the fee, papered the contract and chased the invoice when it went late. This is that job, done once, for you.

The exchange

Five things in, seven things back.

What you send me

  • Your last three paid deals. The brand, what you delivered, what you were paid
  • Your real insight figures. Reel views, feed engagement, story views and your audience split
  • Your media kit, if you have one. If you don’t, say so, because that tells me something too
  • The last pitch email you sent a brand, exactly as you sent it, and the reply if you got one
  • Three brands you’d love to work with, and the single thing most in your way right now

What comes back

  • Where you actually are. Two paragraphs, honest. Your real numbers, and the gap between your following and your reach, which is where most underpricing hides
  • Your rate card, by deliverable. Feed post, Reel, story set, TikTok and a bundle, each with a floor and a target, plus what usage rights and exclusivity are worth on top
  • Why that number. Written out, so you can hold it in a negotiation instead of just quoting it
  • Your media kit, marked up. The three fixes that matter most, in the order to do them, on the file itself
  • Your pitch, rewritten. What isn’t working and why, then a version ready to send, plus the follow up almost nobody sends
  • Three brands I’d put you in front of. Why each one fits, how that brand actually sources creators, and the angle I’d lead with
  • The one thing to fix first. A single sentence. If you only do one thing, it’s that one

How it runs

Four things worth knowing before you buy.

1

Pay, then the form

One link, one page. Never the form first, because that is how these turn into free consultations.

2

No call and no calendar

Nothing to book, nothing to chase. If you want the conversation instead, that is the consultation call, and it is a different thing.

3

Three working days

Not 48 hours. I would rather promise the one I can keep. The clock starts when your last piece lands, not when you pay.

4

A PDF by email

Not a shared doc you have to go and find again in four months.

Honestly

Who this is for, and who it is not.

Right for you if

  • A brand has emailed you and you have no idea what to say back
  • You have been quoting the same number for a year
  • You have sent pitches and heard nothing, and you cannot tell whether it is the email or the timing
  • You want the number written down with the reasoning, not a range off a podcast

Not right for you if

  • You want somebody to send the pitches for you. That is mentorship, or management
  • You want a guarantee that a specific brand will book you. Nobody can sell you that
  • You have never posted to the account you want priced. There is nothing to read yet

About those three brands

That part is the reason this exists, and it is also the part I am most careful with. For each one I will tell you plainly whether it is a brand I could introduce you to, or one you should approach yourself. Both are useful. Pretending the second is the first is how trust dies.

An introduction is access. It is never a promise that anyone says yes, because that decision was never mine to sell you.

The rates in your audit are what the market supports, based on published bands and my own campaign records. They are not a guarantee of what any brand will pay you. What you can charge depends on your content, your audience and your negotiation.

Ready when you are

Find out what you should actually be charging.

Five things from you, seven back, three working days. If you only ever buy one thing here, it is this one, and it comes off anything bigger you book afterwards.

Not sure this is the right one? Say so on the free call and I will point you at whichever of them is, including the cheaper ones.

Fair questions

The ones people actually ask.

What if I have never done a paid deal?

Then say so, and send the rest. A rate card for somebody with no deals is a different document, but it is not a worse one. It is mostly about where you should start and which brands take unproven creators, which some categories do routinely.

Is the $99 credited if I book something bigger?

Yes. It comes off anything over $250 you book with me within 30 days of delivery. You do not have to ask for it. I apply it.

Do you refund it?

Yes. If I deliver it and you think it was worthless, tell me why within fourteen days and I refund it in full. I won’t argue with you.

If you have not sent your five things yet and you change your mind, same answer, and you do not need a reason.

Other ways in

Three more, if this is not the one.
