Management and representation

By application

Management

Representation. Somebody steering where the career goes, not only closing the deal in front of it. I pitch you, negotiate your fees, read your contracts and chase your invoices, and I am alongside the rest of it too: the media kit, the numbers, the feedback, the awkward questions. Very few places, by application, and never something I sell you on a first call.

Commission

Straight to my inbox. Usually answered within a working day, by me, not an assistant.

What it is

The job I did for six years, done for you rather than taught to you.

Mentorship is me helping you do it. This is me doing it. The pitching, the negotiating, the contracts and the invoice chasing come off your desk entirely, and everything around them, your media kit, your numbers, the feedback on what is landing, is mine to stay on top of too. The awkward email you would rather not answer comes to me too. Underneath all of it is somebody whose job is the direction of your career, not only the deal in front of it. You make the work. I do the rest of it with you.

It runs on commission, which means I only earn when you do. That is the right structure and it is also the reason there are so few places. I cannot represent thirty people properly, and anybody telling you they can is selling something else.

What I actually do

The whole job, not the half of it that sounds like a job.

  • Steer the career, not just the deal. Where this is going over the next year, what you are building toward, and which brands are worth a no even when the money is fine. The deals are the visible part. This is the part they add up to
  • Pitch you to brands in my network and outside it, with the angle that suits the brand rather than a template
  • Negotiate the fee, the usage, the exclusivity and the add ons, which is where most of the money quietly is
  • Read and paper the contract before you sign anything
  • Chase the invoice when it goes late, which it will, so that conversation is never one you have to have
  • Build your media kit and keep it current, so the thing a brand asks for on a Tuesday is already written and already right
  • Watch your numbers. Reach, saves, watch time, the rate of the thing rather than the size of it, so your fee is argued from what you actually deliver instead of your follower count
  • Tell you what is landing. What worked, what did not, and when the feed has drifted from what I am pitching you for, because a brand scrolls your recent posts before they read anything else. You do not have to take any of it
  • Take the awkward questions. The brief you cannot price, the old agency contract, the offer that smells wrong. Forward it and I will tell you what I would do

How applying works

Slower than everything else on this site, on purpose.

1

You apply

The form below. Your handles, your real figures, your last few deals and what you want the next year to look like.

2

I look properly

Not the follower count. The reach, the category, whether brands in that category actually spend, and whether I would be adding anything you cannot do yourself.

3

A conversation, if it fits

And a straight no if it does not, with the reason. A no here is usually about timing or category, not about you.

Honestly

Who this is for, and who it is not.

Right for you if

  • Brands already come to you and the admin is now the bottleneck
  • You would rather give up a percentage than keep doing the negotiating
  • You are in a category where brands actually spend money

Not right for you if

  • You are looking for somebody to get you started. Representation is not a growth strategy, it is what happens after one
  • You want to keep control of every conversation. That is mentorship
  • You need a yes today. This is the slowest door on the site

What representation is not

Pitched to is not placed with. I put you in front of brands. Whether they book you is their decision, and it was never mine to sell you.

There is no minimum guaranteed income, no promised number of campaigns and no brand named to you before there is a real conversation with that brand. Anyone offering you those is describing something that does not exist.

Start here

Apply for representation.

A short note is enough. I read it myself and I will say plainly if something cheaper on this site would do the same job, because that happens more often than you would think.

Rather talk? The free call is fifteen minutes and there is no pitch at the end of it.

Fair questions

The ones people actually ask.

What commission do you take?

It depends on the work and the category, so it is agreed in the conversation rather than published. What does not vary: I only take a percentage of a deal I brought you. If a brand came to you directly I will still read the contract and chase the invoice, because that is representation, but I do not take a cut of it.

How many creators do you represent?

Very few, and that is the point. The work is only worth anything if the person doing it has time to do it properly.

Can I do mentorship and management?

No, they are alternatives. Mentorship exists so you can do this yourself. Management exists so you do not have to.

Other ways in

Three more, if this is not the one.
